Terms for Athletes

Last updated: 30 October 2026

These Terms are an agreement between you and Join My Corner AB, corporate identity number 559530-1838, VAT number SE559530183801, Skälbyvägen 136, 175 65 Järfälla, Sweden ("Corner", "we", "us"). They apply when you use our website and apps (the "Platform") as an Athlete.

Corner lets athletes, coaches and other sports and fitness professionals run their own corner: offer direct 1:1 access, sell courses, talk to their Members and get paid. Your corner is your space, and Members come to you through your own link.

By creating an Athlete account you accept these Terms, your Athlete Agreement with Corner and the Joint Data Responsibilities Arrangement. Please also read our Privacy Policy. If you buy Offerings yourself, the Terms for Members apply to those purchases.

1. Key terms

  • Offerings: what you sell on Corner. Access is a monthly subscription for direct 1:1 access to you, such as messages, video calls and feedback on videos. Courses are online courses, programs and related material. There may also be other subscriptions and paid features.
  • Content: what you publish, such as videos, posts, plans and messages.
  • Members: paying subscribers who buy or subscribe to your Offerings. Members must be 18 or older. A parent may let a child aged 13 or older use their account. The Terms for Members govern their purchases.
  • Athlete Guidance: all coaching, advice, programs and other guidance you give, in any format.

2. Who can be an Athlete

  • You must be at least 18 (or the age of majority where you live, if higher).
  • You can sell as an individual or through a company. You do not need your own company. When you sell on Corner you act as a professional, not a consumer, and you are responsible for any tax or registration the law in your country requires.
  • If you register for a company, the company is the Athlete and you confirm you can sign for it.
  • We may turn down an application and may ask for more information at any time.

3. Your account

To start selling you must:

  • give your legal name, address, phone and email, and your company details and VAT number if you have them;
  • set up payouts with our payout provider Talentir (section 7), which verifies your identity before paying you, under its own terms; and
  • describe each Offering clearly: what is included, how long it lasts, response times for Access, the level it suits and any equipment needed.

We may also ask you to verify your identity with our provider Didit, as an extra check when we need one. Keep your details correct and your login safe, and tell us at hello@joinmycorner.com if you think someone else has used it. You are responsible for what happens in your account.

Team members. If others help you run your corner, each must use their own login where possible, and you are responsible for them. They may not read Access conversations unless the Platform allows it and the Member has been told.

4. Your responsibilities

You are responsible for your Content and your Offerings. You confirm that:

  • you have the rights to your Content and it breaks no law or anyone's rights;
  • you deliver each Offering as described, including Access within the stated scope and response times;
  • you describe your background and qualifications truthfully and hold any licences and insurance the law requires;
  • you review every program and piece of advice before you share it, and adapt Access to what each Member tells you about injuries, health and limits;
  • you do not give medical, physiotherapy or dietetic advice unless you are licensed to, and you never claim your Offerings can diagnose, treat or cure anything; and
  • you follow the law, including consumer, marketing and data protection law.

Athlete Guidance. Your guidance must be safe, suitable for the Member and within your competence. Before you start Access, find out about the Member's health, training background and injuries, and refer them to a doctor or other professional when needed. You must have adequate liability insurance and show it on request.

Access. Keep Access conversations confidential. Do not record calls or take screenshots without the Member's consent given through the Platform. (Corner does not record 1:1 calls.) Contact Members about Offerings only through Corner.

Users under 18. If someone under 18 uses a Member's account, all contact stays on Corner. Never ask for their personal contact details, move the contact to other apps, arrange to meet or share anything unsuitable for minors. We may limit features such as video calls for them, and we may close your account immediately if you break these rules.

Not allowed on Corner:

  • illegal activity or substances, or doping;
  • unsafe training, extreme dieting or anything that promotes eating disorders;
  • any sexual content involving minors;
  • alcohol, tobacco, vaping, firearms or cannabis/CBD;
  • harassment, threats or discrimination;
  • content that infringes others' rights or privacy; and
  • spam, scams or misleading claims about results or health.

We do not check Content in advance but may remove anything that breaks these Terms. If you run group chats or community features, you must moderate them.

Marketing. You market your Offerings at your own cost and follow advertising rules, such as labelling ads clearly. Do not suggest that Corner endorses or guarantees your Offerings.

AI tools and dashboards. Corner has AI tools that help you create content, draft replies and understand your audience, and dashboards about your Offerings and Members. AI can be wrong. Check and adapt everything before you share it. What you share is your Content and your Athlete Guidance.

5. Rules

Do not:

  • break the law, impersonate anyone or harass, threaten or deceive other users;
  • copy or share others' Content without permission;
  • take payments outside Corner, or, while these Terms apply (including any notice period), move Members who bought through Corner to another platform or export their data for that purpose;
  • try to access accounts or systems without permission, use bots or scrapers, or reverse engineer the Platform; or
  • use Corner to build a competing product.

We may monitor activity to stop misuse. We look at Access conversations only as described in our Privacy Policy, for example when something is reported.

6. Sales and earnings

How your Offerings are sold. You set the price. Corner sells your Offerings to Members on your behalf, and you deliver them. Purchases, subscriptions, cancellations and refunds follow the Terms for Members, and you may not offer Members terms that give them fewer rights. If you raise a subscription price, existing Members must be told first so they can cancel.

  • Web: payments go through Whop, which handles VAT and sales tax.
  • Apps: purchases go through the Apple App Store or Google Play.

Your earnings. You get a share of what Members pay. Your share and Corner's platform fee are in your Athlete Agreement, which you sign before you start selling. The share is calculated after VAT and transaction fees (payment, app store and payout fees). Refunds and chargebacks are deducted from your earnings.

7. Payouts

  • Payouts are monthly through Talentir GmbH, Zurich, Switzerland (talentir.com). You may need to accept Talentir's own terms.
  • You get a statement by the 5th and payment by the 10th of the following month.
  • The minimum payout is €50 (or $50). Smaller amounts roll over.
  • App sales are paid out once Apple or Google has paid Corner, usually 30–45 days after purchase.
  • Payouts are available in the EU/EEA, the UK and the US.
  • We may hold back payouts if the law requires it, if we suspect fraud, if there is a chargeback or dispute, or if you break these Terms.
  • We may change payment or payout provider with 30 days' notice.

8. Tax

Corner, Whop, Apple and Google handle VAT and sales tax on sales to Members. You are responsible for your own income tax and other taxes on your earnings. We may report your earnings to tax authorities when the law requires it, including under the EU's DAC7 rules.

9. Refunds to Members

Members in the EU/EEA have a 14-day right of withdrawal, as described in the Terms for Members, and you must respect it. Corner handles withdrawals and refunds for web purchases. If you end Access for a Member who has not broken the Terms for Members, the Member gets a refund for the unused part of the period. If we close a Member's account because they broke the Terms for Members, they do not get a refund unless the law requires it. Refunds are deducted from your earnings.

10. Your Content and rights

  • You own your Content.
  • What you let Corner do. You let us host, show, adapt (for example make previews and excerpts) and share your Content as needed to run Corner, deliver your Offerings and promote Corner. You also let us use your name, image and sporting achievements for the same purposes, including on Corner's own social media. We never use them in paid ads without your written consent, and we never sell your Content to others. These rights end when you remove the Content or close your account, except where we need them to serve Members who have already bought from you.
  • Access is private. None of this covers Access messages, videos, feedback or calls. We use those only to provide Access, keep Corner safe and follow the law.
  • What Members may do. A Member who buys an Offering may use its Content on Corner for their own training. Members own the videos they send you, and you may use them only to give that Member feedback.
  • Corner's brand. Corner owns the Platform and its brand. Do not use Corner's name or logo without our written permission.

11. Liability

  • The Platform is provided "as is". We do not guarantee it will always be available or error-free, and we do not guarantee any results from Offerings.
  • Corner does not create or check Athlete Guidance and is not part of your coaching. As far as the law allows, you, not Corner, are responsible for any claim about your Athlete Guidance.
  • As far as the law allows, Corner is not liable for indirect loss, such as lost income, profit or data, or for other users' actions. Our total liability is limited to the higher of the platform fees we kept from your earnings in the last three months and €1,000. This does not limit liability for death or injury caused by our negligence, for gross negligence or wilful misconduct, or anything else the law does not let us limit.
  • You cover our costs (including legal fees) if we face a claim because of your Content, your Offerings or Athlete Guidance, your team members, your breach of these Terms or the law, your handling of Members' data, your taxes, or a claim that you are Corner's employee.

12. Changes and ending

Changes. We give you at least 30 days' notice of changes to these Terms, unless a change is needed sooner because of the law or for security or fraud reasons. You can close your account before a change applies. We may change or pause parts of the Platform and announce planned maintenance where we can.

If we restrict or close your account. We may restrict, suspend or close your account if you break these Terms, if we suspect fraud, or if you harm Members or the Platform. We always tell you why. Before closing your account for good, we give you the notice in your Athlete Agreement (at least 30 days) and, where possible, a chance to fix the problem. We can act immediately if the law requires it or for serious or repeated breaches, including breaking the rules on users under 18. You can ask us to review a decision at hello@joinmycorner.com.

If you leave. Give the notice in your Athlete Agreement (at least 30 days) and keep delivering what Members have already paid for, including Access for the rest of their paid period. You may not move existing Members off Corner during this time. We pay out your remaining earnings, less refunds and chargebacks. If you do not deliver what a Member has paid for, you cover Corner's resulting costs, such as refunds, fees and lost platform fees, and we may deduct them from your earnings.

Complaints. Send complaints about Corner or our decisions to hello@joinmycorner.com. We reply within a reasonable time.

Sections 4 and 6–14 continue to apply after your account is closed.

13. Confidentiality and personal data

Confidentiality. Keep Corner's non-public information, including your Athlete Agreement and fees, confidential, and we do the same with yours. This does not apply to information that is already public or that the law requires us to share.

Personal data. You and Corner are jointly responsible for Members' personal data on the Platform (Article 26 GDPR), as set out in the Joint Data Responsibilities Arrangement, which is part of these Terms. You must:

  1. use Members' data, including health information and dashboards, only to deliver your Offerings on Corner;
  2. keep it confidential and never share or sell it;
  3. not copy it outside Corner (screenshots, downloads, other apps) unless the Member agrees;
  4. not record calls without the Member's consent given through the Platform;
  5. send us any GDPR request from a Member within 10 business days and help us answer it;
  6. tell us at hello@joinmycorner.com within 24 hours if Members' data may have been exposed, including if someone gets into your account; and
  7. follow data protection law, including the GDPR.

Athletes outside the EU/EEA. If you are outside the EU/EEA, the EU Standard Contractual Clauses (Module 1, Commission Decision 2021/914) apply between you and Corner for Members' data you access, and are part of these Terms (eur-lex.europa.eu/eli/dec_impl/2021/914/oj). Clause 7 does not apply. The supervisory authority is IMY, and Swedish law and courts apply. The details of the transfer and the security measures are those in our Privacy Policy and the Joint Data Responsibilities Arrangement.

Whop, Apple, Google, Talentir and Didit are responsible for the data they use for their own purposes, such as payments and fraud prevention.

14. Law and disputes

Swedish law applies. Please contact us first if something is wrong. Disputes are settled by Swedish courts, with Stockholm District Court (Stockholms tingsrätt) as first instance. Corner may also collect unpaid amounts through the Swedish Enforcement Authority (Kronofogden).

15. Other

  • These Terms, your Athlete Agreement and the Joint Data Responsibilities Arrangement are the whole agreement. On fees and payouts, the Athlete Agreement takes priority.
  • If one part is invalid, the rest still applies.
  • You are an independent contractor, not an employee, agent or partner of Corner.
  • Corner is not exclusive. We may work with other Athletes, including your competitors.
  • We may transfer these Terms in a sale of our business. You may not transfer them without our written consent.
  • We send notices by email or in the Platform. Send yours to hello@joinmycorner.com.
  • If there are translations, the English version applies.
